You may be asked to provide three estimates. Feel free to do so, but in reality you are only required to have one from a professional roofer like Buffalo Roofing. Remember, the price is standardized anyway. Your insurance company will schedule an adjuster visit. Let us know when the adjuster meeting is and we will be present to help the adjuster find all damage, help with ladder assists, roof measurements and cost evaluations. Our job with your adjuster is purely to make sure everything gets included, or to ensure the accuracy of the scope of the project. Pricing is set by national pricing standards. This greatly helps eliminate surprises and speeds up the process.

  • Can my insurance company cancel my policy or raise my rate if I file a claim?

    Most states, prohibit insurance companies from cancelling policies for filing claims arising from severe weather related events. Similarly, rates cannot be raised individually for severe weather damage. Rates can only be raised across a broad area.


    Even if your roof is older, but still storm damaged, insurance will likely pay the entire cost of your new roof. You are only responsible for your deductible. Why? The roof will leak eventually, causing much more damage and expense.

  • A recent hail storm left dents in my car and my gutters. The roof looks fine, is it?
